- We are not responsible for issues with the performance of auto services, as this is the responsibility of the mobile mechanic, not us. This is outlined in section 4 of these Terms and Conditions.
B. Definitions
- Auto services: Any repair, maintenance, diagnostic, and inspection services purchased from mobile mechanics, with an appointment confirmation fee paid to us.
- Booking policies: Our booking terms and conditions, containing important information applicable to all bookings, including details on appointment confirmation fees, cancellation policies, and additional costs. Please review these carefully before booking.
- Mobile mechanic: A professional who provides auto services independently of us. These services are promoted through our website (www.mobilemechanicsurreyhants.co.uk).
C. Our Role as a Third-Party Booking Agency
Please be advised that we act as a third-party booking agency, connecting you with a Mobile Mechanic. All Mobile Mechanics are independent contractors, not our employees. They operate under their own business names and manage their own schedules.
Any agreements regarding the scope of work, payment terms, warranties (if applicable), or disputes (e.g., charge discrepancies, parts used, or repair quality) are the sole responsibility of the independent Mobile Mechanic. As the booking agency, we have no authority or involvement in resolving such matters or issuing refunds. If needed, we can provide you with the contact information for the independent Mobile Mechanic who performed your Auto Service.
We aim to help you find reliable and efficient mobile car repair services, providing a seamless experience for customers seeking vehicle assistance. Our easy-to-use phone booking system and extensive network of mobile mechanics allow us to deliver high-quality service. Our platform is tailored to your specific needs, whether for urgent assistance or a scheduled appointment. We continuously update our website for the best user experience.
We help you book auto services with a mobile mechanic, connecting independent mobile mechanics with individuals actively seeking auto services. We do not directly provide auto services but assists customers in finding suitable mobile mechanics based on their needs. Once you confirm your booking by paying the appointment confirmation fee to us, the auto services are purchased directly from the mobile mechanic, not from us. We facilitate the connection between the mobile mechanic and the customer and ensuring their needs are met.
D. Service Promotion and Responsibilities
Our website promotes various repair, diagnostic, and inspection services performed by independent mobile mechanics. Our responsibility is to provide details of auto services and pricing, arrange bookings, and collect appointment confirmation fees.
We are not responsible for the actions or failures of any mobile mechanic with whom a booking is made, nor do we control the repair, diagnostic, and inspection services they provide. Our primary goal is to ensure clients have access to a range of auto services. The auto services offered are provided by the mobile mechanic, not by us. We solely acts as the intermediary, managing your booking, processing appointment confirmation fees, and connecting you with the mechanic. Therefore, the information provided by the mechanic, and the provision of auto services, are the sole responsibility of the mobile mechanic. We bear no responsibility in this regard. Mobile mechanics are not directly employed by us; they are independent contractors responsible for the quality of their own work.
E. Mechanic Availability
We strive to connect you with Mobile Mechanics local to the area where the Auto service is needed. However, if no local Mobile Mechanics are available at your desired time and date, we reserve the right to connect you with Mobile Mechanics from further afield.
F. Booking Policies
Once the appointment confirmation fee has been paid, it is considered full and final payment. If you cancel a scheduled appointment, the appointment confirmation fee is non-refundable.
We aim to ensure your satisfaction. However, if we are unable to deliver the service (e.g., unable to connect you with a mobile mechanic or the appointment is not attended by the mobile mechanic), we will issue a full refund of the appointment confirmation fee upon your request.
As a condition of using our service, your contact details may be shared with the independent Mobile Mechanic. This is to ensure the Mobile Mechanic can contact you directly to provide the necessary Auto services. This information will be shared solely for the purpose of successfully providing the Auto services you require.
Please note that we may have to cancel scheduled appointments due to reasons beyond our control, such as unavailability or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we are committed to providing a full refund of the Appointment confirmation fee paid in advance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
G. Payments for Auto Services
Please note that auto services are purchased directly from the mobile mechanic, not us. We determine charges for the auto service you need based on factors including your location, car model, type and age, the timeframe between your booking request and the scheduled service, and the availability of parts locally and nationally. Our calculations rely on data from industry-leading parts suppliers and information provided by mobile mechanics.
Before any repair work begins, it is your responsibility to review and confirm the pre-agreed hourly rate and cost of parts with the assigned mobile mechanic. We want our clients to be fully informed of their financial commitment before proceeding with repairs. Our mobile mechanics are happy to provide clarification and answer any pricing questions to ensure transparency and satisfactory resolution.
